The FourTrax Foreman Rubicon, Foreman 4×4, and Rancher are all sticking around for the 2024 model year. The trio of Hondas are all tough as nails and long-lasting enough to be a workhorse favorite, but they’re overdue for mechanical upgrades. Honda tried to mask this by splashing some new paint on the ATVs but it’s not fooling us. Still, we’re glad to have the Hondas around.
On the entry-level side of the Honda ATV garage, the Rancher is back. It’s a workhorse that can also tackle trails when the chores are done. Honda uses the Rancher to cover a huge spread of options for buyers, from a choice of a five-speed manual transmission or automatic DCT to the availability of electric power steering. We can’t vouch for the Rancher enough, as it’s one of the most versatile and durable ATVs available at any price. The 2024 Rancher will be available in April or May of this year depending on trim. Prices are as follows:
MSRP
FourTrax Rancher 4×4 DCT IRS EPS (Avenger Red; Solstice Orange): $8,799
FourTrax Rancher 4×4 DCT IRS EPS (Honda Phantom Camo): $9,299
FourTrax Rancher 4×4 DCT EPS: $8,299 (Avenger Red; Krypton Green; Sandstone Beige)

FourTrax Rancher 4×4 ES: $7,399 (Avenger Red; Black Forest Green; Sandstone Beige)
FourTrax Rancher 4×4: $7,099 (Avenger Red; Black Forest Green; Sandstone Beige)
FourTrax Rancher ES: $6,299 (Avenger Red; Black Forest Green)
FourTrax Rancher: $5,999 (Avenger Red; Black Forest Green)
One rung up the Honda ATV ladder lives the Foreman 4×4. It comes in three trim levels for 2024, all of which somewhat unfortunately still use a swingarm rear suspension that compromises ride quality and compliance in the name of simplicity and price sensibility. This makes the Foreman 4×4 a better choice for work, farm, or ranch duty than for trail riding fun. The Foreman 4×4 goes on sale in March (April for the Foreman 4×4 EPS), and the MSRP for each model is as follows:
MSRP
FourTrax Foreman 4×4 ES EPS: $8,899 (Avenger Red; Krypton Green; Sandstone Beige)
FourTrax Foreman 4×4 EPS: $8,699 (Avenger Red; Black Forest Green; Sandstone Beige)
FourTrax Foreman 4×4: $7,899 (Avenger Red; Black Forest Green; Sandstone Beige)
Last but not least is the Foreman Rubicon. The 500-class ATV is outclassed by its competitors on the performance front, especially the slew of new Can-Am Outlander models, but speed isn’t the mantra for Honda’s four-wheelers. What the Rubicon does have is a class-exclusive Dual Clutch Transmission that’s much more involving than any CVT, and Honda outfits the Rubicon with plenty of other goodies to make it a pleasant machine to spend time riding. It’s back for 2024 with availability starting in March for the Foreman Rubicon 4×4 EPS and June for all other Rubicon models. Pricing is as follows:
MSRP
FourTrax Foreman Rubicon 4×4 DCT EPS Deluxe: $10,599 (Matte Gray Metallic; Honda Phantom Camo; Matte Navy Blue)
FourTrax Foreman Rubicon 4×4 DCT EPS: $10,099 (Black Forest Green)
FourTrax Foreman Rubicon 4×4 EPS: $9,899 (Honda Phantom Camo; Matte Gray Metallic; Matte Navy Blue)3/13
FourTrax Foreman Rubicon 4×4 EPS: $9,399 (Black Forest Green)
FourTrax Foreman Rubicon 4×4 DCT: $9,399 (Black Forest Green)
