Knee pain during or after cycling is, unfortunately, not uncommon. However, it is avoidable and can usually be addressed via an adjustment to your bike fit, modification in your training load, or working on strengthening areas of the body which are not working as they should.

It is common to experience pain around the knee after a rapid increase in either intensity, or volume, of cycling. The affliction is affectionally referred to as ‘spring knee’, however, it can crop up at any time of the year.
