The 2025 Polaris Sportsman 570 2-Up lineup is getting big improvements, including a much stiffer chassis, the return of the dump-bed X2 model, and more comfortable seats, and added storage. Polaris also restyled the whole lineup, and added a 7-inch touchscreen with RideCommand, and heated seats to the Sportsman Touring 570 Ultimate.
We’re most excited about the Sportsman’s new chassis, which Polaris says is stronger and twice as stiff as the outgoing frame. Polaris got the improvement by going from one-inch-by-one-inch square chassis tubes to 1.5-inch-by-one-inch tubes. Company brass told us the suspension was beefed up to complement the chassis. The biggest change to the suspension is a set of sealed bushings. Rear travel is 9.5 inches, and claimed ground clearance is 11.5 inches.
The passenger seat can now be removed without tools, which should allow the Sportsman to go from two-up tourer to single-seat utility rig more easily. The 2025s have 11 gallons of sealed onboard storage, thanks in part to a new box under the rear rack. Polaris said maintenance intervals are two times longer compared to 2024. The Touring Premium, Touring Ultimate, X2 570 and 6×6 570 will all have an LED pod light and LED headlights next year, which is becoming a de rigueur update across the industry.
The 2025 Polaris Sportsman Touring 570 Ultimate tops the four-wheeled lineup, with RideCommand, drive modes, a 3,500-pound winch, USB charging, heated seats, and 14-inch alloy wheels wearing 26-inch Duro tires. The Ultimate package is new for next year, and starts at $14,499. Polaris is positioning the Touring Ultimate as a halo trail ATV designed for long rides.
The Sportsman 570 X2 gets a 400-pound capacity dump bed, the same winch as the Touring Ultimate, and TurfMode and on-demand AWD, which will tighten the machine’s turning radius and keep it from tearing up your lawn or field. Think of the X2 as the utility counterpart to the Touring Ultimate. MSRP in the United States is $13,999.
If you need more load capacity, the Sportsman 570 6×6 is the heavy-duty utility option, with an 800 pound capacity dump bed that includes D-ring tie-down points. The 6×6 has a fixed passenger seat and on-demand AWD, but no Turf Mode. The Sportsman 570 6×6 starts at $14,999.
Polaris said the 2025 Sportsman 570 lineup will hit dealers this month. Head to the Polaris website for more information.
